The role has full P&L responsibility for the UK and Ireland business and will oversee manufacturing operations, sales, customer service, distribution and support functions. This is a senior leadership role and candidates should have a track record of building relationships, holding people accountable and driving growth . Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all operational activities across the UK and Ireland
  • Shape and deliver strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Manage and inspire senior leadership teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers.
  • Monitor financial performance and manage budgets effectively - P&L responsibility.
  • Identify and act on new business opportunities within the sector.
  • Report to the global leadership team on progress and strategic initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidates should have:

  • Extensive senior leadership experience within the packaging, chemicals or a closely related manufacturing industry.
  • A strong track record of implementing change and driving Sales in a Business to Business sales environment.
  • Successful track record growing key accounts and building trust via improved customer service.
  • Proven ability to manage complex operations across multiple locations.
  • Strong people and team development skills - setting targets and holding to account.
  • Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills - examples of data driven decision making.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities - team building and accountability.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on business growth and innovation.
  • Demonstrate an ambitious, driven entrepreneurial leadership style.
  • Relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree in business or engineering.
