Job Description

  • Overall management of the budget, audit, taxation and accounting within the local organization
  • Support and guide general Accounting with the local Chief Accountant
  • Supervise the Controlling team by providing and directing procedures and systems necessary to improve current controlling system
  • Organize, structure and manage the local finance team, sharing and implementing best practice in all divisions and ensuring alignment at all times to the group's interests
  • Budgeting and monthly reporting with a particular focus on variance analysis
  • Active participation in the process of obtaining financing, managing relationships with banks and investors
  • Assess performance and plan, implement and manage operational across all departments
  • Set up performance benchmarks for the company and certify accuracy of financial statements
  • Provide financial leadership in terms of cost reduction and revenue optimization
  • Lead the cooperation with internal and external auditors and manage the completion the company's financial audits
  • Manage financing, banking and partner vendor relationships
  • Managing local team of appr. 35 FTE's
  • Close cooperation with company Board and reporting to CEO

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in a similar role/ financial management (min. 7 years) in large, rapidly developing manufacturing company/companies
  • Experience in managing large and various- function departments
  • Proficient knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, accounting standards, tax regulations
  • Ability to obtain financing, experience in building investor relations and cooperating with banks
  • Knowledge of the SAP HANA system
  • A collaborative leadership style and the ability to motivate a dedicated team
  • A proactive mindset, particularly toward supporting sustainability initiatives
  • Proficiency in English (min. C1 level) and Polish
