About Our Client

On behalf of our client in the Industrial Sector we are seeking a Finance Director to lead financial planning, reporting and compliance. The role focuses on driving strategic insights, supporting business growth and overseeing process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective team management.

Job Description

  • Lead the financial strategy, planning and analysis processes to support business growth and operational efficiency
  • Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and compliance
  • Manage a finance team, overseeing key accounting and financial operations to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Provide strategic insights to senior management regarding financial performance, risks and opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, systems and reporting
  • Support business transformation initiatives, including changes in accounting practices and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with overall business goals
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to foster a high-performance culture

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role within the industrial sector or a related industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and reporting principles
  • Relevant certifications such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are highly desirable
  • Experience in managing change and leading accounting process transformations
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing and motivating teams
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced financial tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Polish and English
