As Vice President of Fundraising for a private equity fund, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract and secure capital from investors. You'll build and maintain relationships with potential and existing investors, ensuring that the fund meets its financial goals.

Job Description

What will you do▪ Investor Relations: build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors.Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to ensure investor engagement and satisfaction.

▪ Investor confidence: develop investor confidence and belief in the company's vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value.

▪ Fundraising Strategy Development: develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the fund's goals. Potentially, identify and target new investors, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, and pension funds.

▪ Reputation: create and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties.

▪ Equity research and financial trends: lead as senior in performing in-depth research related to market trends/dynamics, industries, and verticals, helping shape investment theses, and preparing marketing materials.

▪ Sales and Marketing: develop compelling marketing materials, pitch books, and presentations tailored to different investor segments. Lead the sales process from initial contact through to closing, ensuring a high conversion rate.

▪ Compliance and Reporting: ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to fundraising and investor communications. Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities, progress, and outcomes for senior management and investors.

▪ Insights: provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team.

▪ Strategic Thinking: create presentations with clear recommendations for senior leadership; active thought leadership and problem-solving both internally than on the market.

▪ Networking: increase and manage long-term relationships with new and existing businesses across the Italian market eco-system to expand Client's network and presence; serve as an ambassador on behalf of the Client.

▪ Event Management: Organize and participate in industry conferences, roadshows, and investor events to promote the fund and attract new investors. Represent the fund at key industry events, enhancing visibility and networking opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

Preferred capabilities▪ Bachelors and Master's degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, from a top-tier university, with strong academic credentials.

▪ At least 7 years of full-time work experience in fundraising, sales, or investor relations within the private equity or financial services industry.

▪ Highly analytical skill set with impeccable quantitative and research skills, especially regarding business/market trends and financial metrics; advanced financial modelling skills, including business planning and forecasting, scenario analysis, valuation, and analysis of economic deal terms and returns.

▪ Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry.

▪ Strong business and strategic acumen, with ability to formulate, communicate, and inspire broader vision with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

▪ Ambitious, enthusiastic, proactive self-starter who excels in a fast-paced environment as part of lean teams or in self-directed settings.

▪ Exceptional interpersonal, networking and communication skills; able to lead development and delivery of compelling presentations, clearly and concisely share objectives, ideas, and rationale, and make recommendations to partners and company founders to achieve desired outcomes across a range of audiences and levels.

▪ Constantly monitors and formulates positions on global current events, critical social/political/economic issues, as well as market/consumer trends.

▪ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) or equivalent applications; experience using workflow management applications.

▪ Italian native, fluent in English. French knowledge will be a plus.
