Job Description

The role is accountable for acting as a strategic bridge between the Vietnam business and global headquarters. This includes full management of the existing operation, leading cross‑functional teams in finance, operations, customer service, procurement, HR, and quality, and ensuring strong internal cooperation.

Key responsibilities include driving further expansion with a strong technical and commercial focus, identifying business opportunities in Asia, and supporting global procurement initiatives.Scope of Responsibility:

  • Full management of the mill (operational, financial, HR, procurement, sales operations).
  • Lead and increase performance of the existing operation, including expansion planning.
  • Support procurement in identifying and evaluating new Asian suppliers (raw materials, machinery).

Core Tasks:

  • Lead strategic planning for the Vietnam operation, including scenario creation and future roadmap design.
  • Collaborate closely with global business units and group functions.
  • Own the full budgeting process, including forecasting.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Define operational KPIs with the local team; monitor performance and address deviations.
  • Strengthen lean management practices in line with the group's systems.
  • Oversee workforce planning, HR strategy, and people development.
  • Manage relationships with local authorities and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct market searches and preliminary supplier assessments in alignment with central procurement.



The Successful Applicant

Education & Experience:

  • University degree in engineering, technical, technology, or equivalent.
  • Proven leadership experience in Asia, preferably with European or Western corporate exposure.
