About Our Client
My client is a large, luxury RV vacation destination and resort in Maine. They are part of a larger, global group and have operations that span across the globe. Their family-friendly world class resort in Maine includes facilities such as woods, lakes, golfing, beaches, shops, restaurants, boat slips and bars. In addition, they also offer different types of accommodation, from camping and RVs, to lodges and luxury vacation homes.

Job Description
The General Manager spearheads this impressive and experienced leadership team of 10 professionals. The General Manager opporutnity can be broken down into the below main areas. Managing a leadership team of 10 people, and 300+ employees (during peak season), the General Manager is responsible for:
- Guest Hospitality
- Team Management
- Health & Safety
- Resort Maintenance
- Community Relations
- Property & Asset Management
- Financial Repsonsibilties
- Strategy

The Successful Applicant
In return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:
- High School Diploma or GED; College degree preferred
- 10+ years property/resort/hospitality management experience
- 5+ years of executive supervisory experience
- Experience of managing large RV parks
- Guest and resident activities/services, housing, housekeeping and/or maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Basic computer proficiency including email, internet and Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous sales and leasing experience preferred, but not required
- Flexibility to respond to property/resort needs during non-business hours
- Ability to function well in a challenging and dynamic environment
