To develop and implement the Pan-European Brand/Marketing strategies I am looking for a General Manager (m/f/d) - Brand & Strategic Marketing Planning. You act as key contact point for Brand Strategy related topics. You lead and guide the team in understanding company strategy and objectives and support them in translating them into structured and actionable projects and detailed plans.
Job Description
- Act as key contact point for brand strategy related topics to counterparts at headquarter, Marketing Heads on market level as well as to other subsidiaries (mainly Directors and General Managers)
- Lead the brand strategy development in alignment with headquarter on all brand related activities
- Develop appropriate strategies, action plans and processes to support mid/long term brand objectives of headquarter, subsidiaries and distributors
- Define and implement brand transformation across Europe, coordinating departments and markets, analyzing future needs and requirements to further drive strategic thinking and consumer-centric marketing planning within the organization
- Establish and lead the Strategic Marketing Planning-Team in the future as a consulting and support area for the markets, in order to improve the deployment of the new brand strategy in the local markets (e.g. new car launches, communication strategy)
- Manage stakeholders across markets, subsidiaries and headquarter to implement the brand and product strategies and align messaging by providing the right tools, channels and moments for communication and information sharing
- Ensuring projects are executed in an efficient and consistent manner, supporting regional needs and goals
- Lead the market research units covering Brand and Communications tracking
The Successful Applicant
- University degree or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of experience in marketing
- Proven record of advertising, media strategy, digital marketing and media experience
- MC Office advanced (PPT/Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels, especially senior executive teams
- Excellent analytical, conceptual and strategic skills
- Strong project & stakeholder management, organizational skills
- Self-starter, motivated, driven and with a desire to learn
- Innovative mind set and proactive attitude
- Proven team management and coaching skills
- Ability to interpret and present complex data
