This unique positioning means that the Fuchs Group are keen to invest in these brands and have therefore created a new role of General Manager Product and Marketing. This is a pivotal role to the business which sits on the executive leadership team, reporting into the Managing Director for Australia. This is an exciting time for the business, combining strong brands in both the B2B and B2C channels gives the platform and opportunity to really drive company growth and sales.

Reporting into the MD, the General Manager, Product and Marketing is a key role within the business. The initial focus of the role will be combining the two marketing, product and technical teams of Fuchs and Nulon, creating a united and cohesive team which will be instrumental in driving the future success and growth of the business. This role needs a change agent and an experienced marketing and product leader that knows how to unite and build a team for growth
For the global Fuchs brand, this role is responsible for product management, channel marketing, promotional activities and also oversees a technical services function. As the custodian of the iconic Australian Nulon brand, this role is responsible for product management, brand and channel marketing, promotional activities and also oversees a technical services function. This is a strategic role within the business that expects ideas and recommendations to be brought forward that will enhance both product and process improvement and grow both the Fuchs and Nulon business.
This is a key leadership role that needs to cultivate a high performing culture, as well as sponsoring creativity and innovation. Leading a team of 15 across marketing, product and technical this role requires an excellent people leader
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a proven marketing expert, bringing experience from the automotive industry.
- Proven experience in a product management and marketing role within a multi-national company
- Experience with the Automotive aftermarket in both trade and retail channels
- Demonstrated experience of bringing new products to market and developing new markets with existing products
- Proven skills in driving improvement in sales and marketing productivity and sales lead creation
- An excellent people leader, ability to unite teams, drive change and results
- Proven experience of leading a multifunctional team
- High level of communication skills, including a high degree of financial literacy.
