Job Description
- Working in tandem with C-Suite to plan and build a sustainable Supply Chain strategy to build a greenfield Supply Chain that is scale-able globally.
- Implementing a sourcing strategy which is sustainable and will de-risk the Supply Chain for future growth.
- Building and fostering a network of suppliers for raw materials and commodities and setting up a Purchasing strategy.
- Selecting and implementing an MRP system for scale
- Developing and growing a Supply Chain team across Planning, Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics and Projects.
- Spearhead network enhancement and systems integration projects (Warehousing and Planning).
- Inventory management of all skus through a company owned warehouse and 3PL network globally.
- Reporting, forecasting and analysis management to ensure DIFOT levels are 98%+ and a high degree of forecast accuracy is maintained.
- Purchasing of raw materials and finished goods from local and overseas suppliers
- Governing the relationship with contract manufacturing to build more robust relationships and gaining COGS efficiency's.
- Key focus on continuous improvement of processes and procedures across the Supply Chain.
- Build, implement and drive an S&OP process.
- Adhoc Supply Chain projects.
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstrated experience building a greenfield Supply Chain (Sourcing, Procurement, Planning and Logistics).
- Experience in managing a high level of spend across raw materials and services.
- Manufacturing and project exposure from an industrial manufacturing, medical devices or similar industry.
- Ability to not only set a scale-able strategy but also a desire to be hands on to build from scratch.
- Automation skills would be an added bonus.
- Previously led an MRP or ERP system from conception through to implementation.
