Our client is an exciting start-up with strong back-up by a well-established conglomerate in Asia. They are now creating a new digital platform with pure focus on helping clients solve ESG-related challenges. Now they are looking for a business development lead that can go out to build the brand and open the door.
Job Description
Reporting to Global Managing Director that is running the business, you will be part of the core leadership team in this evolving start-up that prides itself as an ESG solution provider blending in digital/technology and consultancy solutions. With initial focus on SEA, your role will gradually evolve into a global role covering a broad range of industries with predominant focus in energy, oil & gas and logistics industry where they usually have greater urgent needs to address the ESG issues. Starting off as the senior individual contributor, you will be expected to work in a lean structure with possibility to build your own team to further penetrate in the market in partnership with product, technology and ESG consultancy team and broader group to create synergy.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should be a proven sales leader with prior regional/global coverage in covering various corporate sectors. Prior exposure to financial institutions will be a plus.Great knowledge in different part of ESG will be important especially in areas of environmental domain - i.e. carbon market, decolonisation, climate change and other ESG regulation/reporting standard.
