Job Description
- Develop and implement a global expansion strategy to establish the brand in new international markets
- Oversee all company operations, including production, marketing, sales, and distribution in both domestic and international markets
- Manage the company's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for both domestic and international operations
- Lead the development and launch of new products and product lines that are tailored to the needs and preferences of international customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in international markets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that support global expansion efforts
- Manage a high-performing team of executives and where appropriate, recruit and train employees with expertise in international business operations and cultural sensitivity
- Ensure that the company is in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in both domestic and international markets
- Represent the company in public forums, conferences, and other events in both domestic and international markets
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the company to support global expansion efforts
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in executive leadership roles, preferably in the food, fmcg or Consumer industries
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills with a deep understanding of international business operations and cultural nuances
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with experience managing teams across multiple geographies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Japanese is required
- Proven track record of driving growth and profitability
