This division consistent of 4 global business units in North America, Europe, and Asia operating in 8 countries.The Division President will report to the Segment President and CEO of this $1.5B segment. The Division President will also be one of the key leaders of the executive management team of the overall parent company. This division provides custom engineered and standard products to markets including, but not limited to energy, infrastructure, industrial, aerospace, heavy duty and off-highway, mining, fluid power, medical and mining. This Global President will look to grow the division mainly through acquisitions (M&A) identifying and integrating companies to complement the existing business units, while also expanding into new end markets and applications. The group is seeking profitable growth through organic growth and M&A with the intent to double the division revenue by 2030. This role is based in Houston, Texas and will be on site. Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates.Job DescriptionFull P&L responsibility of the global divisionDevelop a strong understanding of the markets, customers, and products to drive strategic commercial decisions fueling growthProvide overall strategic management, direction, and leadership of the division across all core functionsCreate and sustain an environment and culture that drives accelerated growth, profitability, and customer satisfactionEnsure strategic direction aligns with the overall segment being accountable for the overall performance of the divisionIdentify and pursue M&A (merger and acquisition) targets and opportunities working closely with the corporate M&A team.Integration of acquired companies into a structure that leverages the current expertise and synergiesDevelop and executive a cohesive growth strategy for inorganic and organic growth focusing on high growth and profitable market segmentsEstablish and implement an organizational structure in alignment with the strategic vision that supports the current organization and future state regarding customers, operations, commercial, etc.Work with global business unit leadership teams and operations to drive operational improvements for best in class production and qualityWork closely with business unit leadership teams and functional heads contributing to contract negotiations, costing, pricing, and other related commercial activitiesDevelop annual operating budget, forecasts, and leading quarterly and annual reviewsImplement talent development, evaluation, and success planning activities with the HR Leadership team supporting current and future talent needsDevelop, maintain, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and other strategic partnersDrive leadership team in a positive and collaborative approach focusing on a team based cultureThink like an owner driving and maintaining a goal oriented, entrepreneurial environment with legacy business and new businessThe Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or relatedMBA or Masters degree preferred20 years of experience in industrial b2b manufacturing5 years of experience in Sr. Leadership role responsible for a P&L - President, CEO, Managing Director, Vice President, General Manager, etc.Strong financial acumen in requiredPrior experience with M&A identify targets and post integrations highly preferredProven background and experience driving business development securing high value contracts, with a sales and commercial backgroundStrong commercial acumen and creative thinker identify new markets and applicationsAbility to be strategic while also being hands on and tactical when requiredAbility to work with all levels of management and team members internal and externalMust have experience working for a global company working with different culturesBusiness minded and strong teamworkStrong communication skills, time management skills, and a customer focused mindset.Fluent in English is requiredStrong work ethic and high attention to detailAbility to travel 50% domestically and globallyWhat's on OfferCompetitive base salary - $350,000 - $400,000 depending on experience, annual bonus 50%, long term incentive, car allowance, full benefits, 401K and match, vacation, holidays, and relocation assistance if needed.
