Job Description

  • Provide focused, business-minded HR leadership to the business and is part of its success by translating business vision and strategy into an executable people strategy
  • Accountable for attracting and retaining top talent and ensuring a best-in-class employee experience
  • Establishes credibility throughout the organisation and sets an example as a proactive leader who earns respect by demonstrating a sound understanding of business objectives and goals
  • Showcases influence and decision-making in the areas of leadership and management, change management, organisation development and design, performance management, talent development, work force planning and employee engagement, relations and communications
  • Coaches and influences senior leadership team
  • Develops plans for implementation and communication of key HR processes including recruiting, compensation, talent management, performance management, leadership development and workforce planning that add value to internal clients and ultimately the external customer
  • Gathers and analyses internal and external data, evidence-based research, benchmarks, and business metrics to make critical decisions
  • Provides guidance and input on organisational structure, workforce planning and succession planning. Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs within the organisation
  • Maintains current knowledge of related compliance and legal rules and regulations, fulfils compliance and reporting requirement

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 15 years of experience in progressive leadership HR roles, manufacturing experience will be preferred but is not a must
  • Proven track record of delivering high performance across geographies and cultures
  • Ability to work with cross functional leaders at manufacturing site as well as being a strategic partner to global and regional leaders
  • Operational and strategic decision-making ability
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities that demonstrate a high competence in organisational decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully drive initiatives in a matrix environment and work at all levels of the organisation
  • Aptitude of coaching direct teams and providing feedback, partnering with commercial leaders on all aspects of employee relations and responsibility of all employee actions
