Job Description

Working closely with the co-CEO, this is a senior regional leadership role responsible for driving the APAC partnership strategy, expanding local payment capabilities, and leading market localisation initiatives across key countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead regional and local expansion of strategic partners including payment institutions, banks, wallets, acquirers, and broader ecosystem players.
  • Negotiate high‑value, long-term commercial agreements to strengthen local payment capabilities and optimise cost efficiency.
  • Build a structured partner governance framework ensuring sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships and performance oversight.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless integration and go‑live of new partnership initiatives.
  • Define localisation strategy for priority APAC markets in alignment with global business objectives.
  • Influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, to accelerate business rollout across the region.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Partnerships - APAC Head should have:

  • 15+ years' experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or related partnership/channel management.
  • Deep familiarity with cross‑border payment ecosystems and regulatory frameworks across APAC.
  • Strong network of payment institutions, banks, and local ecosystem players across the region.
  • Proven track record managing global or large multicultural teams.
  • Strong executive‑level negotiation and stakeholder management experience.
  • This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders in Mainland China; therefore, fluency in both professional Mandarin and English is essential.
  • Exposure to product-led partnership models and local infrastructure build-outs.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving, culturally diverse work settings.
