About Our Client
Our Client is an international organization.
They built a mid-sized shared services center in Kraków and they now want to take it to the next level and transform it SSC into a global hub. This transformation involves creating the strategy related to which processes can be centralized in Poland, transferring additional functions from various international locations and building them in the global SSC in Kraków
Job Description
- Lead the development and transformation of the SSC into global hub including setting the strategy of what can be crntralized in Poland
- Oversee process mapping in subsidiaries, and transitions of roles from various countries into the center
- Identify opportunities for the further transitioning of processes into the center
- Supervise the existing teams and their leaders covering various regional processes
- Manage SSC operations and development activities according to agreed service levels/KPIs, annual cost targets and strategic guidelines movement etc.
- Have a strong focus on customer and stakeholder management and be a key player in various Group's change and implementation initiatives and projects
- Liaise and build trust with stakeholders abroad including Managing Directors and Regional function Heads in the respective countries
- Foster a continuous improvement culture and identify areas for further optimization
- Drive SSC staffing through involvement with the selection, training, career development and evaluation programs
The Successful Applicant
This is an interesting opportunity for someone already managing a stand-alone SSC as its Head or a person with solid experience in managing large process teams who would like to step up and become an SSC Head.
- Several years of work experience within an international SSC, BPO GBS or center of excellence environment, as its Head or Deputy
- Experience in managing a global hub will be a strong asset
- Track record in bringing new processes to Poland and building a strategy of processes to be centralized
- Proven track record in leading large teams
- Profound experience in managing change, running shared service operations, preferably under SSC concept
- Proven track record of efficiency and quality improvements of operations
- Profound practical knowledge of managing finance operations
- Experience of working in an international/multi-cultural work environment and enjoys working with different vultures and local requirements
- Experience in change and transition management
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on spirit
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English
- University degree (MA, BA or equivalent), preferably in finance or another relevant field
