With safety and environmental responsibility embedded in its core values, the organization is continuously evolving to meet the highest standards in chemical manufacturing and process safety.Job DescriptionThe role requires close collaboration with corporate functions such as ESG, OPEX, Quality, Procurement, Communications, and R&D-PSD, as well as with Site Managers, Business Managers, and external stakeholders including auditors and supply chain partners. This strategic position carries significant influence and responsibility in driving consistency and excellence in SHE practices worldwide. Develop and implement a global SHE policy and long-term strategy aligned with business objectives.· Define standards for process safety, occupational health, behavioral safety, and environmental impact reduction.· Integrate SHE with ESG and sustainability initiatives.· Promote safety as a core organizational value through training and internal communications.· Lead risk assessments and support root cause analyses to prevent incidents.· Monitor compliance with evolving legislation (e.g. CSRD, EU-EIPR).· Establish and report on SHE KPIs to the leadership team.· Coordinate SHE practices across global sites, ensuring alignment with global strategy and local regulations.· Functionally lead site SHE teams and foster best practice sharing.The Successful Applicant· Minimum of 10 years' experience in SHE management within the chemical or process industry.· MSc degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a technical discipline; SHE specialist qualifications are a plus.· Deep understanding of process safety, SHE management systems, and regulatory frameworks.· Proven experience in building and sustaining a safety culture across international operations.· Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.· Experience with ISO standards (14001, 45001) and SHE-related IT tools (e.g. Sphera, Reporting 21, Power BI).· Willingness to travel globally.What's on OfferThis is a unique opportunity to lead the global SHE agenda for a forward-thinking chemical company with a strong sustainability mission.
