Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Supply Chain Director. The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's supply chain strategy and operations and will play a vital role in driving the company's growth and success. He/she manages and coordinates the company's logistic and supply chain function across sub-functions such as acquisition, warehousing, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet company's business requirements.
- Develop and implement S&OP within the company - Working closely with key stakeholders and interdependency alignment.
- Drive Working Capital Improvement through Inventory modelling & optimization
- Develop & Implement Best in Class customer delivery performance
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies including development of supply chain design principles
- Drive Continuous improvement in Logistics & Distribution activities - (Cost, ESG etc)
- Review & Update policies and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives
- Implementation of Group Supply Chain Scorecard & Performance improvement in identified KPI's
- Co-ordinate 'cross-group' capacity planning & footprint / asset utilization
- Ensure Appropriate Export controls & Trade Compliance requirements
- Lead and manage the entire supply chain process
- Ensure that the company's supply chain operations are efficient and cost effective
- Continuously improve the supply chain process through the implementation of new technologies and best practices
- Manage and coach the supply chain team
- Build sound working relations with the internal stakeholders
- Ensure and identify potential cost savings at Group level
The Successful Applicant
- University (masters) level
- 10-15 years' progressive international experience in Supply chain with extensive experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience with Supply Chain transformation programs
- Proven track record with strong successful implementations, e.g. WMS or TMS
- Ability to develop a strong strategic view and ability to translate this to tactical and operational levels in the organization in order to achieve what needs to be done to achieve the strategic goal
- Solid track record in meeting substantial material cost reduction targets
- High level of drive and commitment to business stakeholders combined with independence and ability to challenge
- Ability to coordinate multiple group efforts within the company to achieve objectives

- Ability to identify processes requiring improvement, and to recommend improvements
- A driver of collaboration between business and supply chain;
- Delivers on promise and is familiar with deadlines
- Knows how to manage processes and include stakeholders in decision-making
- Agile and flexible, pragmatic and being able to react quickly to a changing environment.
- Is a good listener and is sensitive to the tone of the company culture
- Experienced in working with people from multiple organizational levels, and with multi-national/cultural employees
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and good ability to build up a strong (internal & external) network
- Dynamic and energetic personality, pragmatic and clear-thinking;
- Has a good sense of humor and does not take him/herself too seriously
- Willing to travel 20-30%, mainly within Europe
