About Our Client
Our Client is a well-known organization headquartered in Baltics. They are a strong player in the TSL sector. The company focuses on excised goods, FMCG, retail, electronics and pharmaceutical sectors.
Job Description
- Support execution of operational and financial strategy on a regional level in Europe
- Develop finance organizational strategies by contributing financial information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives
- Act as partner to the business side of the organization identifying opportunities for growth and process optimization
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the Executive Board and lead the strategy planning within the finance area and beyond
- Utilize market knowledge and customer relationships to drive insights
- Co-pilot of further expansion in the Western European countries
- Focus on productivity, quality, growth, margin, and customer-service strategies
- Provide analysis of pricing and promotional activities to drive effective use of trade spend and impact to internal profitability
- Take responsibility for management information on regional level - drive automation, digitalization processes, lead BI implementation projects
- Manage financial planning, periodic financial performance reviews and budget variance, ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations
- Lead a large team located in different countries
The Successful Applicant
- 15+ years of experience in finance gained in an international sales-driven organization; regional experience / focus / mind-set will a be an advantage
- Experience in TSL / retail / distribution sectors is strongly preferred; low margin/high volume businesses
- Educated to university degree level
- ACCA, CIMA or equivalent certification will be a strong asset
- Successful track record in leading large teams in remote locations
- Experience in collaborating among senior management, business and functional leaders
- Strong leadership skills
- Strategic view, strong conceptual skills
- Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of one of the CE languages is essential (preferably Polish)
- Mobility & ability to travel is essential
