The business is entering an exciting next phase of professionalisation, investment, and growth.Job DescriptionThe Group Financial Controller will establish and lead a high‑performing Group Finance function for a growing, international and PE‑backed business. This newly created role owns technical accounting, consolidation, financial reporting, internal control, and the standardisation of financial processes across multiple countries.Key responsibilities include:Leading group consolidation and IFRS‑compliant reporting.Standardising accounting policies and ensuring consistent financial governance across all entities.Implementing and embedding the group's new consolidation & reporting solution (CCH Tagetik), ensuring high‑quality data, reporting accuracy and process efficiency.Managing the global audit process and acting as a strategic partner to auditors, investors and senior leadership.Strengthening the internal control framework, risk management, and data integrity.Supporting M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and technical accounting.Building and developing a capable, internationally dispersed finance team.Partnering closely with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision‑making.The Successful ApplicantMinimum 10 years of experience in senior Group Controller roles within international, multi‑site organisations.Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.Strong technical accounting background with deep IFRS expertise and solid knowledge of Dutch GAAP.Proven experience implementing or working extensively with consolidation tools, ideally CCH Tagetik (Wolters Kluwer) or comparable solutions.Solid knowledge of SAP S/4Hana and financial consolidation systems.Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP and reporting environments.Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high‑performing finance teams across geographies.Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence operating in PE‑backed environments.Personal traits: performance‑driven, resilient, hands‑on, collaborative, and comfortable navigating change within a fast‑scaling organisation.What's on OfferA unique opportunity to join a newly formed European market leader at a pivotal moment in its growth.
