Our Client is a well-known Retail/E-commerce company with its business presence in EMEA region. In order to strengthen their group, we are seeking to recruit a talented professional for the position of a Group HR Director with a strong people & business mindset and drive who will support the company in strengthening its very good market position and who will facilitate its further growth.
Job Description
- Partner with senior leaders including CEO (HQ) to improve on current programs and initiatives, and where needed, develop and implement new programs and initiatives directly aligned to business strategy in the areas of performance management, recognition, career development, organizational design, succession planning, talent development, compensation planning and employee relations
- Oversees the effectiveness of human resources processes including employer branding, recruitment & retention, workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, T&D and compliance
- Support M&A activities in the region (HR due diligence) and coordinate/support the HR integration after closing a deal
- Lead organizational and cultural change (including EVP and EB) and design by working with senior leaders to identify business requirements and implement appropriate solutions
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with senior leaders and key employees with a special focus on leadership development and employee engagement
- Run HR programs for key contributor and management positions; Concentrate on soft skills development and enhancing employee's knowledge by coaching, counseling, career development
- Strong focus on setting and delivering on KPI's, analyse and deliver data driven presentations and recommendations to key business leaders
The Successful Applicant
- Experience operating as an HR Director with a proven track record in meeting high standards in a demanding, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Experience in assisting in building organizational strategies, preferably in Consumer Goods/Retail & E-commerce sector
- Successful track record in supporting dynamically growing companies in development of an HR culture, preferably in commercial focused firms; experience in M&A would be an advantage
- Substantial experience in business partnering at leadership level
- Profound understanding of HR fundamentals - Polish labor law, C&B, employee relations, learning and development
- Strong interpersonal skills to immediately establish the necessary credibility on all the levels of the organisation
- Ability to motivate and influence others without direct line authority
- Strong abilities to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders' interests
- Experience in successfully managing and developing a professional teams
- Project management experience, excellent organizational skills, with ability to set priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Very good coaching and facilitation skills
- Open and cross-culturally minded
- Good knowledge of different IT tools in the field of HR + MS Office
- Fluency in Polish and very good command of English is a must
