Job Description

  • China strategy development: as a long-term development strategy for the group, mainland strategic development has taken on increased importance, with the objective to extend our Integrated Business Model with adaptations into the Mainland, to ensure sustainability of sports event and our contributions to betterment of society.
  • Corporate Strategy and Integrated Business Planning: including key strategic initiatives planning, KPI management across all divisions. You will also support the Board committee in managing the year budget, working closely with the committee secretary on the agenda setting, programme management etc.
  • Partnership development, you will support board committee to build the agenda whilst cultivating key partnership with customer focused corporate and major institutions that share the same target customers.
  • As a brand ambassador, you will act as a role model to demonstrate agility, collaboration, accountability and results orientation as part of the culture.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Master's Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent) from an internationally recognised University, plus Bachelor degree in Business Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum of twenty years of experience in a managerial role within a sizable, multi divisional, complex organization in China, with a particular focus on business project management/execution.
  • A background in management consulting, private equity and investment banking, with a well-rounded strategic planning and project execution skillset and managing a project team is a plus.
  • Deep familiarity with Mainland China; in particular, deep experience living and working in Mainland China is a plus.
  • End to end skills in strategy projects including research/benchmarking, output (ppt) production, establishing timelines, designing / enforcing milestones, supporting in events execution, managing /resolving issues, reporting.
  • Advanced corporate finance skills with the ability to develop advanced financial models.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English / Mandarinare required; Highly polished/eloquent writing/speaking skills in Chinese.
