About Our Client
Our client is a global multinational, an industry leader in the space they operate in. As part of the growth in the organisation, there is a newly created role for a Head of Credit Control to lead the credit and collections function globally.
Reporting to the Group CFO and managing a team, you will be responsible for driving the formulation and implementation of global credit and collections policies, partnering with the finance team and the business leaders. You will be integral in driving a cultural shift in the credit and collection function and play a key role as part of the management team to influence the global organisation to adopt effective practices beneficial for the business. You will ensure the right policies and procedures are in place and credit risk is managed effectively.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you are Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance/Business, with at least 15 years of relevant working experience, with the recent years in a leadership capacity. You are strategic, 'hands-on', assertive with a keen eye for details. You should also have excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of influencing and implementing change. Experience gained in a credit risk/management function within the banks/financial services sector would be highly advantageous.
