Job Description
- This role will lead the UK training strategy design and execution and will oversee all events content and strategy needs both at regional and local level, as well as online training modules that are provided as a resource for Members and Preferred Customers
- Responsible for regional events content and strategy
- Oversee and support local events content
- Design the Member training programme, identify training needs via gap analysis and research. Gather insights from independent Distributors, regional functions and Country Directors to develop targeted training content to support Distributor success and drive sales growth - including, but not limited to:
- Distributor business methods
- Technology and support tools
- Skills training
- Personal development
- Regional representative on global training committee with responsibility for implementing global training initiatives aligned with strategy
- Drive innovation in new learning technologies, delivery methods, and generational-based learning approaches
- Identify and implement solutions to measure ROI of online and offline training programmes
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of four
- Deliver an end to end, enhanced and structured training education programme for Distributors
- Optimise the channel mix to ensure the best penetration and impact, and that supporting materials are highly effective
- Maintain a consistent, targeted operating rhythm of training
- Collaborate continuously with sales and marketing teams across the region to understand bespoke requirements and enable continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstratable background in designing and executing Sales Training strategies / programmes at Director level
- Preferably a background in operational frontline sales, now executing under a training guise for a sales force
- Proven exposure / heading up EMEA territories
- Extensive workings within a Learning and development environment with a 'lean to' sales
- Tertiary qualifications in Education, Training or business preferred
- Expertise in the psychology of learning
- Strong project management skills and flexible attitude;
- Understanding of business performance and drivers
- Be able to develop deep and trusting relationships through credible leadership
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and problem solving skills
- Positive, proactive attitude with critical thinking
- Highly organised, yet adaptable
- Conflict management
