Job Description
As the Head of Engineering, you will lead a team of various engineering teams and be responsible for the development of technical/capital improvements for chemical manufacturing facilities. You will be utilising Front End Engineering methodologies and leading Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects.
- Lead project teams to develop efficiency improvement plans and deliver with excellence.
- Design and develop site masterplans.
- Manage capital funding.
- Collaborate with related departments to align technology goals with business objectives.
- Provide HSE leadership to ensure full compliance with international and local regulation.
The Successful Applicant
- Past senior management experience in heavy industries (e.g. Mining, Minerals, Chemical).
- Previous project management experience.
- Familiar with Front End Engineering.
- Effective communication skills to work across departments and job levels.
- Ability to manage large teams.
- Knowledge of thermal furnace operations will be advantageous.
