About Our Client
Retail multinational opening the Spanish market
Job Description
- Site development - explore potential locations including market analysis, feasibility study, site visit and site presentation
- Determine the best locations for store opening
- Build a pipeline, timetable of store openings and work plan to achieve target of store opening
- Negotiate rental terms to secure commercially acceptable rents and contracts, and prepare legal documents
- Prepare budget for stores development
- Work closely with outlet manager to coordinate fit out of new outlets, prepare the equipment and manage technicians, and ensure each outlet is ready for opening & to meet sales targets; supervise staff as necessary
- Serves as the main point of contact with external entities in relation to the site projects
- Report to the COO or such other person or committees as may be determined from time to time, in a timely manner on the affairs of the business
The Successful Applicant
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar role
- have knowledge of good sites, malls and have relationships with landlords, agents, leasing managers/directors, to build a portfolio of outlets in an efficient way
- must know how to navigate government bodies and compete with existing big retail players
