About Our Client
A Private Equity backed retail company, with an impressive track record of growth, which has recently embarked on a transformation under a new high calibre leadership team, in order to position itself for the next phase of growth and as the leader in its market.

The Head of HR for Europe will be a key member of the leadership team. In addition to the traditional responsibilities of a full Business Unit HR role, you will be responsible for innovation and improvements, and will:
Be a strong "business partner" to the MD and the management team and contribute to the business strategy
Establish HR priorities in close collaboration with the management team through a sound understanding of the business needs especially regarding strategic talent acquisition, organisation design, and talent strategy.
Align HR priorities with the business while importantly building and driving innovative analytical approach to HR
Set up, support, develop and accelerate the team that will drive the European business under this strategic partnership
Build the HR approach on rigorous analytics through the implementation of robust HR systems and KPIs that support and accelerate the business
Ensure the business has the best talent to support fast growth by implementing efficient processes in order to attract/develop/engage/retain talent through efficient and dynamic processes.
Design and lead the engagement agenda with the objective to foster commitment and entrepreneurial spirit within the organisation as a whole and proactively address any employee relations needs.
Create a high-performance organisation with a strong "numbers-driven" culture and align culture with strategy to deliver business results.
The Successful Applicant
Candidates should have HR leadership experience from the retail or FMCG sector, and must be familiar with working in a sales driven culture.
Ideally with a degree in a business related topic, the Head of HR will have an all round HR background and will have worked in Recruitment, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Relations.
Experience gained in global, fast paced, and commercially focused organisations would be beneficial, as would experience of change management, integration and project work.
What's on Offer
In addition to a salary of between £80-90,000 there will be a car allowance, discretionary bonus, private medical scheme and pension.
This business looks after it's people very well. There will be some travel, but it will rarely be overnight.
