Job Description

As a member of the Group Board and Executive Committee, the Head of HR will contribute to the development and implementation of of the UK business strategy.

Leading an HR Team to support a high performance culture.

  • Provide strategic vision in the delivery of a global and UK HR strategy that supports long term organisational goals
  • Responsible for recognising, creating and implementing plans which promote and support an inclusive workplace culture
  • To analyse the organisational structure and determines changes to organisational responsibilities
  • Drive a leadership culture and approach to talent management to identify and develop the talents of employees based upon current and future business objectives
  • Strategic management of the HR teams, ensuring high standards
  • Identify and drive large scale improvements and implement significant change management programmes, working with key business stakeholders
  • Lead on HR projects and manage the UK HR budget
  • Promote continuous learning across the organisation which supports the development of capabilities and provides a culture where everyone is fully engaged, supported and motivated
  • Analysis, people metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce decision-making
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of future reward activities that values and recognises individuals
  • Oversee the development of Wellbeing programmes
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of global HR centres of excellence ensuring the needs of the local organisation are met

The Successful Applicant

  • A proven track record of HR leadership and business partnership operating within a global organisation

  • Strategic vision, change management with a high degree of organisational and management skills

  • Ability to build lasting relationships, and to collaborate and influence across a variety of stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in the implementation of strategic HR projects
  • Effectively operated as as coach to senior leaders in all aspects of HR
  • Relevant degree and professional qualification in HR, Organisational Development or other related field
