Job Description
- Reporting to: General Manager
- Team management: +20 people
The professional will be accountable for:
- Acting as the strategic business partner to the General Manager and leadership team via providing legal support/opinions to all retail business units
- Defining the risks and making suggestions for improvement and development related to internal applications via adopting a preventive law approach
- Following the legislative changes and their impacts, preparing executive summaries to top management
- Preparing and reviewing power purchase contracts
- Providing legal opinions to governmental bodies (Electricity Market Regulatory Authority, state authorities) and relevant sectoral associations
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in law, preferably LL.M. degree, MBA degree is a plus
- Minimum 20 years of experience with minimum 10 years of leadership background
- Solid people management skills; able to attract, develop and retain talents
- Know-how in electricity market law would bring significant advantage
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management and advisory skills
- Curious, result oriented, having an ownership mindset, empathetic and authentic
- Fluency in English is a must
