Job Description
- Lead, develop, represent and coordinate the legal and compliance team.
- Legally advise the board as well as all key stakeholder departments.
- Be in charge of all matters compliance, like developing internal rules, creating compliance training, develop the IT compliance system, etc. .
- Draft, review and negotiate all kinds of legal documents, like e.g. commercial contracts.
- Be in constant exchange with the APAC, and other oversea legal departments about strategic direction and developments.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in a law firm or in-house legal/compliance team
- Experience in team management
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Japanese and English business level language skills, Japanese native level plus
- Qualified in Japan or English speaking jurisdictions preferred
