  • Currently rapidly expanding their Japan business after their first successful product launch last year.

Job Description

  • Lead all market access activities in Japan, working closely with the global team, focusing on the development and execution of patient access strategies for Japan.
  • Devise pricing, reimbursement, and regulatory strategies to ensure that current products and future pipelines reach patients promptly.
  • Gather and generate local real world evidence data to strengthen product value.
  • Lead engagement strategies, develop and maintain relationship with key stake holders.
  • Work as an internal expert on reimbursement for designated technologies.
  • Lobby various government organisations such as the PMDA and MHLW.
  • Grow the Japan market access team by becoming a hiring manager in the next 1-2 years.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree or above in related fields of study.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the health care industry and experience in reimbursement and/or health economics.
  • Deep understanding of reimbursement for Pharmaceutical or Medical Device products for Japan market.
  • Proven ability to lead a team.
  • Business English level.
  • Native or fluent in Japanese.
