Job Description

  • Lead and manage the Medical Affairs department, including strategy development and implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and life cycle management.
  • Provide scientific and medical input into clinical development plans and commercial strategies.
  • Oversee the dissemination of scientific information to Healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and other external stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at scientific conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Act as a key member of the executive committee in the Spanish subsidiary, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in a scientific discipline such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, or Chemistry.
  • Extensive experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with a track record of successfully leading teams.
  • Ability to strategically and operationally manage a comprehensive medical department.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and international colleagues.
  • Very high proficiency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
  • Prior experience in therapeutic areas such as Rare Diseases, Neurology, or Pain will be highly valued.
