Job Description

  • Designing and delivering the annual scenario testing programme for the organisation's most critical business services, from scenario selection and test planning to execution and reporting.
  • Driving continuous improvement of testing methodologies to ensure robust assessment of resilience capabilities.
  • Leading the vulnerability management process, including identification, prioritisation, and remediation tracking.
  • Considering resilience aspects in change management and investment decision-making.
  • Establishing sustainable processes for monitoring compliance with resilience requirements in business-as-usual operations.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across business units, technology, and support functions to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Producing clear reporting for executive leadership and ensuring that outcomes from testing and vulnerability assessments are captured in the enterprise risk framework.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in an international or national bank with 10+ years of experience in the area of: operational resilience, business continuity or related risk functions (including several years in a leadership role)
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry best practice for operational resilience, scenario testing, and vulnerability management.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple business units and geographies.
  • Experience in third-party risk management and crisis management planning.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • A strategic mindset, combined with hands-on experience in implementing change and improving processes.
  • Relevant academic qualifications and professional certifications in business continuity or resilience (e.g., BCI, DRI).
