Our client is an Italian company leader in the food&beverage industry.

Job Description

Reporting to the PL Director, the Manager will take over the business in US, Canada, and Mexico. He/she will handle the Retail and Food Service channels for PL products and promote the branded products in the assigned area, with a primary focus on managing and developing PL.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure assigned goals achievement, manage the products P&L, and contribute to defining the Group's development plans;
  • Acquire all information related to the current business by working alongside the existing structure, in order to independently manage clients, and in coordination with other company departments;
  • Manage proposals for new references, develop new products, in coordination with all functions involved in the process (marketing, R&D, logistics, quality, procurement);
  • Manage and strengthen the existing partnership with PL clients;
  • Coordinate and optimise all commercial and project activities to make them more effective and aligned with the company's international development goals;
  • Identify new geographical markets and expand the customer portfolio, critical areas and implement improvement and efficiency actions and contribute to the expansion of business lines in line with the market needs and the distribution channels.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience gained in Italian companies focused on int. development and/or foreign branches, operating in branded and PL food products, gained in senior export management roles in US area;
  • Experience in development plans for new products and drafting the related product P&L;
  • Knowledge of market analysis and comprehensive vision of the commercial process, product delivery and operations;
  • Proven leadership skills, combined with attitude to work in entrepreneurial context;
  • Marketing knowledge and communication skills aimed at presenting new projects, analytic and relational skills, result orientation, and a team-working attitude;
  • Fluent knowledge of English and Italian; Spanish is a plus.
