About Our Client
Our client is a provider of Operations & Maintenance services to the renewable sector. Well funded and part of a wider group of companies they have the ability and opportunity to grow through diversification in service and customer to create a highly profitable business servicing the renewable sector.
Specifically the Head of Sales will:
- Drive the achievement of Group revenue targets as well as strategic targets of broadening service offering
- Leadership of the tendering process and sales pipeline whilst working closely with various stakeholders within the business
- Involvement in the selection and implementation of a new CRM platform
The Successful Applicant
We are seeking and individual with a high level of exposure to the offshore renewables sector. While the role will be based in the Midlands the individual will travel extensively and therefore have the ability to work from a home or office location.
With high level exposure to the offshore renewables market, a high understanding of the relevant customer base, service requirements, value vs. price expectations, and who is at the "pulse" of the market. The successful candidate will be well connected in the industry, display a strong drive and self-starting nature to identify and explore business opportunities outside, whilst working closely with the project teams inside to understand the existing areas of expertise, and what type of work can be offered - sometimes encouraging the client to push the boundaries and explore new types of work.
