About Our Client
Our client is a leading global 3PL company with operations worldwide and strong financials support. They are now looking for a strong sales leader with solid air freight forwarding experience, to join them with the aim to lead, expand and strengthen their Key Accounts Operations.
Reporting to the Regional COO, you will lead a team and drive success in managing and expanding the sizable key accounts. As the owner of the region's P&L, you will be accountable for the development, implementation, and retention of the existing customers, while opening new doors.
You will own the day to day operations for all direct customers facing activities to ensure productivity, operational excellence and quality performance are delivered, based on your understanding of your clients' business & needs. You will work with internal commercial teams to drive effective strategies and to create product and service opportunities, promote business growth and deliver commercial targets.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate would be a degree holder ideally in business or supply chain/ logistics capacity. You will possess a minimum of 15 years' experience in air freight forwarding including at least 8 - 9 years management scope with solid P&L management overseeing customer service or operations excellence.
You will be highly commercial with a strategic and innovative mindset; and solid customer service and direct customer facing exposure.
Excellent command of English is required for this role and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders (internal and external) in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
Some traveling is required for this role.
