Job Description

This role will be responsible for:

- Providing strategic direction to regional leaders and country heads by developing short, medium and long term growth and expansion plans

- Driving deep into Asia markets to identify and manage strategic business opportunities

- Making business related suggestions for expansion that are backed by strong fundamentals and market research

- Reviewing existing business engagements across the region, bench-marking performance between different products, customers and markets

- Working in strategic partnership with Regional Leaders, Finance Teams and Country Heads as well as external consultants when needed

- Be directly involved with future M&A activities and post merger integration

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate:

- Will be currently based in Singapore or Hong Kong (or other South East Asia countries will also be considered)

- Will have extensive experience in the FMCG sector; Food related product experience would be idea

- The highest level of commercial acumen and deep knowledge of mature and emerging markets across Asia (ex China)

- Prior experience with the worlds top FMCG companies is highly desirable; B2C and B2B experience

- Should have experience in a sales or strategic /commercial capacity

- Is highly numeric and able to digest and understand data and financials

- Should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be willing and able to navigate in an ever changing and developing organisation

- A passion for sustainability and plant-based foods would be a real asset
