Specializing in photovoltaic projects, our client covers the entire solar energy lifecycle, including development, financing, construction, operation and asset management. The company has successfully built and manages a significant portfolio of solar assets, with an equally significant portfolio of future projects in Europe.

Job Description

  • Establishing a strong and enduring presence in the debt financing market, both domestically and internationally, by cultivating relationships with influential figures responsible for structured finance within potential lending institutions such as banks and project finance entities
  • Continuously monitoring the PV / Renewables project finance market in Poland and Europe to align with the company's requirements
  • Actively managing the process of creating financial models, crafting teasers, and developing other informational materials tailored for potential lenders
  • Addressing inquiries from lenders concerning financing applications
  • Orchestrating the coordination of audits encompassing technical, legal, market, tax, insurance, and financial models, with particular focus on resolving issues highlighted by advisors during due diligence and validating audit reports
  • Coordinating the review process encompassing technical, legal, market, tax, insurance, and financial aspects, with particular emphasis on addressing issues highlighted by advisors during due diligence and validating audit reports
  • Formulating the structure of new transactions, conducting price negotiations, and negotiating the terms and conditions of loan agreements
  • Providing support during the signing of loan agreements and other pertinent financing documentation
  • Coordinating the fulfillment of condition precedent requirements
  • Participating in the execution of bank drawdowns in collaboration with other relevant company departments and technical advisors, including the preparation of documentation and calculations for drawdowns
  • Engaging in ongoing reconciliation of bank payments and overseeing post-construction loan settlements as necessary
  • Meeting reporting obligations to lenders in accordance with the terms of loan agreements, including operational budgets and cooperation with technical advisors
  • Maintaining close day-to-day collaboration with various company departments, both domestically and internationally, to facilitate project finance preparation, implementation, and operations
  • Assisting the Chief Investment Officer's office in preparing materials and coordinating the process of obtaining preliminary and final investment decisions
  • Conducting financial analyses, as needed, to evaluate investment projects, such as the acquisition of project rights portfolios
  • Offering support in the commercialization of photovoltaic projects through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), including financial modeling
  • Providing assistance in other financing processes and capital-raising endeavors as required by the company
  • Offering financial advisory services for various company financial matters
  • Collaborating closely with key managers and company leadership, including regular status reporting and presenting work results
  • Coordinating with different company departments and units, both domestically and internationally, and offering support in various facets of the company's operations as necessary

The Successful Applicant

  • A proven track record in effectively managing multiple project finance transactions from various perspectives, including banking, financial advisory, or the business side, with a mandatory minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in structured finance deals, with a comprehensive understanding of project finance origination and execution. Proficiency in financial modeling and a strong grasp of project finance documentation specifics are essential
  • Experience in an international working environment, with fluent English language skills
  • Alignment with a dynamic organizational culture, characterized by a hands-on and implementation-oriented approach
  • A strong sense of independent ownership of projects and deliverables as a prerequisite
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage with financing providers, legal, technical, and business advisors, and the ability to collaborate effectively across the company team
  • Proficiency in analytical and organizational skills, coupled with the ability to work efficiently under time pressure
  • Preferred educational background in finance or technical faculties
