About Our Client
Headquartered in the UK, our client has a rich history in manufacturing and FMCG spanning over a 100 years. They produce specialist B to B industrial products as well as household consumer products through manufacturing sites in the UK, Asia and EMEA. They sell and distribute in over a 100 countries but with operations in UK, US, EMEA and Asia.
Job Description
- Taking full ownership and management of group tax operations and exposures across all taxes; CT, VAT, transfer pricing and employment taxes
- Full externally managed compliance model; marshalling and liaising with global advisers both on local complex issues as well ensuring all the compliance matters are handled in a timely and accurate manner
- As a senior member of the finance leadership team, managing senior relationships, process improvements, driving change etc with all global stakeholders and leaders
- Working closely with the CFO and other senior management leaders in developing and evaluating optimal tax strategies to assist new business initiatives
- Being a key advisor to operations and commercial teams on new tax rulings, regulations and tax law on a global basis
- Further supporting the business on bids and tenders for new contracts and other related matters
- Responsibility for all aspects of the group's transfer pricing policies and group management fee arrangements
- Working closely with CFO, the Group Treasurer on global financing and debt structuring management
- Multiple ad-hoc projects from a tax perspective including; restructuring, financing, M&A and other projects where tax will play a key role
The Successful Applicant
You will be a Tax qualified professional ideally having trained with one of the larger accounting firms. You will have spent a number of years in house with an international business, and there will be a preference for candidates coming from manufacturing, FMCG or goods based organisations, but this is not a prerequisite.
What's on Offer
Between £120,000 - £140,000 base plus car, bonus, pension and a good overall benefits package.
