Job Description

  • Provide strategic direction for the Traditional Trade Sales team
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders within the traditional trade channel
  • Develop and implement sales strategies in line with company objectives
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure product availability and visibility
  • Manage and motivate a dedicated sales team
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Participate in relevant industry events to promote the company's products

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Traditional Trade should have:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of commercial experience in leading Traditional Trade operations within the FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Retail sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale sales teams and complex distributor networks.
  • Deep understanding of RTM models, field execution, and trade marketing best practices.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly strategic, yet hands-on and operationally savvy.
  • Financial and commercial acumen with P&L management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in [local language] and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields; MBA preferred.
