HR Director for a Chemical Company, in Bangkok open to expat

Our client was founded more than 30 years ago and is world class producer of chemical products with a global sales network in more than 65 countries and regions.
Our client is committed to sustainability in developing high-quality, environmentally-friendly and safe performance chemicals used in various aspects and activities of humankind and produced for use in leather, textile, paper, digital printing ink, aluminum and various other performance chemical products. .
You will be responsible for aligning our global business goals with global HR strategy and implementing HR initiatives, practices, programs, and systems designed to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness across our manufacturing operations and functional support teams.
You will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added integrated HR solutions with expertise, data-led insights, and trust. Focusing on Competency Based Success factors, you will help lead and drive the creation of an extremely motivated, high-performance culture emphasizing empowerment, company core values, inclusion, diversity, exceptional quality, productivity, standards, and goal attainment.
The HR Director will effectively plan, design, develop and evaluate HR related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals, lead performance management, talent assessment, and negotiating and administering contract agreements.
Reporting to our Group CEO, you will be part of our senior Leadership Team providing HR strategic direction, guidance, and support for the implementation of policies and procedures, safety of the workforce, recruiting and hiring high-performing employees, and other human resources related issues.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree required (Master's Degree/MBA or equivalent preferred)
A minimum 10-15 years of progressive and diverse Human Resource experience (3+ years at a Senior Leader/Director level) for a global company, with expertise across multiple manufacturing locations.
Demonstrated broad based HR Management experience leveraging HR strategies to the overall business vision and objectives (including associate engagement and experience, inclusion and diversity, compensation practices, organization diagnosis, organization development and training, talent acquisition, performance management, strategic workforce planning, and employment law.)
Excellent command of written and spoken English (Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and, or, Thai would be an added advantage)
Demonstrated experience and aptitude for organization design, organization effectiveness, leadership development, and change management to support a high performing organization and culture.
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment in a highly collaborative manner with an associate-ownership mindset.
