About Our Client

To strengthen its leadership team, the company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director who will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the people strategy across the organization.
As HR Director, you will lead the full scope of HR operations, ensuring alignment with business strategy, operational efficiency, and compliance. The role entails full ownership of end-to-end HR processes and the management of the HR Department, while partnering with senior leadership to drive human capital excellence. As part of the management team, you will be fully accountable for the HR function and act as a trusted advisor to the executive board and business leaders. We are looking for someone who places people at the center of their work, fosters an employee-focused organizational culture, and contributes to the long-term creation of organizational value.

Job Description

  • Define and implement forward-looking HR practices fully aligned with the company's growth ambitions and people strategy
  • Act as the strategic owner of the full Hire-to-Retire (H2R) lifecycle, ensuring seamless employee experience and operational excellence
  • Drive key initiatives in motivation, learning, internal mobility, and retention to strengthen capability and engagement
  • Ensure compliance with labor law, internal policies, and corporate standards while maintaining a pragmatic, business-oriented approach
  • Partner with senior leadership to translate strategic goals into actionable people plans and measurable results
  • Elevate the company's employer brand and engagement agenda, fostering a strong, values-driven culture
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, building future HR leaders and promoting a high-performance culture
  • Leverage HR analytics and digital ERP HR solutions to guide decision-making, anticipate workforce trends, and improve service quality
  • Build transparent employee relations and maintain constructive dialogue with employees and trade unions
  • Support competency framework initiatives and talent valuation projects in cooperation with external partners
  • Identify and implement process improvements enhancing efficiency and cross-functional collaboration
  • Uphold workplace ethics, professionalism, and adherence to company policies on data protection, OHS, and compliance

The Successful Applicant

  • Several years of proven leadership experience as HR Director or Senior HR Leader within international manufacturing organizations
    Solid background in production and FMCG environments, ideally within multi-site or industrial organizations
  • Strong and inspirational leadership capabilities, with a track record of developing diverse, high-performing teams
  • Proven experience in driving organizational growth, transformation, and cultural evolution
  • Demonstrated success in process optimization and change management, including automation and digital HR initiatives
  • Confident in challenging the status quo, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, and acting as a pragmatic HR business partner with clear and influential communication
  • Strategic thinker with strong people orientation, serving as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team and contributing to long-term organizational value creation
  • Solid command of HR fundamentals, labor law, and HR operations, combined with strong financial acumen, cost awareness, and risk management mindset
