About Our Client

My client is a well known FMCG brand with strong presence internationally with a diverse portfolio. The company has had a stable track record over the years and is now looking for a seasoned HR professional to take the business to the next level. The role has full ownership of the HR function for the Hong Kong business, supporting the Managing Director directly.

Job Description

  • Lead the HR function for Hong Kong, reporting to the Managing Director and functionally to the Regional HR Director
  • Drive strategic HR strategies that support business objectives and enhance organisational performance
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with overall business goals
  • Contribute to organisational development in areas such as succession planning, talent acquisition and management, employee engagement, and change management to enhance overall people management strategies
  • Assist in the smooth operation of the HR Office, including setting objectives, formulating performance metrics, and managing resource allocation
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate HR-related risks through effective data management practices
  • Introduce innovative solutions, involve in transformation projects to improve operational efficiency within the HR function.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Business Administration or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum of 15-18 years of senior-level HR experience in complex organisations
  • Industry experience in the FMCG/ retail sectors is a MUST
  • Ability to demonstrate strong commercial sense and think "outside of the box"
  • Energetic in style with high levels of integrity and ability to connect with and influence people across all levels
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
