Based in the Croydon area, our client is a global organisation in the Financial Services and Business Services space.

With a global workforce of over 5,000 you will focus on employees in the UK and Ireland.

Job Description

As the HR Director, you will:

  • Develop, Create and Implement the annual HR Strategy.
  • Play a key role in delivering the long term strategic people plans.
  • Business Partner and coach the Senior Leadership team.
  • Play a key role in acquisitions and the TUPE in of new employees with particular focus on harmonisation and restructure.
  • Develop and enhance the key areas of Recruitment and Employee Engagement.
  • Be actively involved in the Transformation agenda.



This role will be based in the surrey and Sussex area and the ability to be in the Croydon area on at least 2 days a week is important. The role in Hybrid with the rest of the week based from home.

The Successful Applicant

You need to be able to work in the Croydon area at least 2 days a week. You should live within a commutable distance of Croydon or be able to get to the Surrey / Sussex area easily.

In addition you must be able to demonstrate the following experience:

  • Ideally you will have worked for a company that is involved in Business Process Outsourcing or providing outsourced services to clients.
  • You must be able to demonstrate considerable experience of the TUPE in of employees.
  • Experience working in a Head of HR or HR Director role - reporting into a board and managing an HR team



In addition it would be very beneficial to be able to demonstrate experience working with teams in Customer Services, Call Centres or Sales.

While experience working in Financial Services is highly desirable it is not essential.
