About Our Client

The Human Resources Director will sit as part of the board, reporting to the company CEO. The HRD will own the people strategy, creating a people plan for all aspects of HR. This role will lead a team of 15 in HR.
The role will be very project based to begin with, but will evolve as they begin manufacturing their products. To begin with responsibilities will include creating HR strategies and policies for the business, for both the project and manufacturing phases; working with the CEO and the Board to develop the organisation (people, structure, culture, targets, KPI's etc.), and developing an engagement strategy to make employees ambassadors of the new brand
It is expected that the manufacturing phase will begin in 2021 and that will the involve working with the board members to develop and direct an HR strategy that is aligned with business goals; overseeing the compensation and salary admin process, and developing and maintaining an effective recruiting and retention strategy to support their business goals.
The Successful Applicant
Applicants must be fluent in German and English, and be happy to be based in the companies offices near Stuttgart. Recent experience must be at European HR Director level, where applicants have sat on a board of Directors, and been the HR lead for their business.
Applicants must have deep expertise in employment law, employee relations, salary administration and compensation, benefits plans, and resourcing. They must have worked with an international remit, and have led a large team.
Finally, applicants must have worked in permanent positions, in either manufacturing or engineering companies for most of their careers. We are unable to consider other sector experience for this particular client, although we do recognise that sector experience can be fluid within this discipline,
What's on Offer
A salary depending on experience of between E155,000 to E170,000. Bonus of 24% (up to 40%) and a cash LTIP of 25% (could go up to 50%). Pension.
