An Interim Chief Financial Officer is now required to join a prestigious and forward-thinking charitable organisation.

Job Description

As the Interim Chief Financial Officer, you will work collaboratively as part of the Board and provide key financial insights to support effective decision making.

The Interim Chief Financial Officer will be instrumental in leading the robust and accurate activity of the finance function

This is both a strategic and tactical Chief Financial Officer requirement, supporting an organisation during a period of change.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Leading on the strategic financial plan
  • Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting cycle
  • Overseeing financial governance and ensuring a robust control framework
  • Reviewing and improving existing financial reports and financial insight to support effective decision making
  • Interfacing and business partnering with the wider Executive Board and providing key financial insights

The Successful Applicant

  • A Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CIPFA)
  • A proven track operating with emotional intelligence and empathy
  • The ability to add value and support in a broader transformation strategy
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Credible and pragmatic approach
