Job Description

As the Interim Financial Reporting and Accounting Lead you will play a fundamental role in ensuring the accuracy and delivery of key financial information. The Interim Financial Reporting and Accounting Lead will also partner across the wider organisation and will be key in supporting a wider finance transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Delivering the statutory reporting for the business
  • Lead on month end activities and close
  • Providing key financial insight and analysis to support effective decision making
  • Supporting with a broader finance transformation agenda
  • Reviewing and enhancing the chart of accounts
  • Manage external relationships with the external auditors
  • Ensure robust and comprehensive compliance is in place
  • Lead on business case reviews and appraisals
  • Adopt continuous improvement activities

The Successful Applicant

  • A Qualified Accountant ( ACA / ACCA)
  • The ability to work in a large and complex organisation, during a period of change
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills coupled with a pragmatic approach
  • A track record of adding value and continuous improvement activity
