An established and successful business based in the Midlands.
Job Description
As the Interim Group Financial Controller you will play a critical role in the delivery of accurate and timely financial information and business partner with both internal and external stakeholders. You will act as the technical expert and ensure the delivery of both internal and external requirements.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Managing the finance team
- Leading on the statutory accounts process for the business
- Overseeing the monthly management reporting
- Full responsibility for the preparing of the interim and consolidated financial results
- Ensuring effective governance and controls are in place
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to the business
- Liaising with the external auditors to resolve any queries
The Successful Applicant
- A Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven track record of leading an established team
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- The ability to deliver in a complex organisation
