Job Description

  • Identification and analysis of new investment opportunities through market research and relationship-building with counterparties.
  • Deal evaluation: sector and financial analysis, supervision of financial models, valuations, and materials for committees and the board.
  • Leadership of due diligence processes (financial, operational, and market), coordinating experts and external providers.
  • End‑to‑end execution of transactions, including negotiation, structuring, and coordination of all involved parties.
  • Portfolio management: ongoing relationship with portfolio companies, performance monitoring, and support in growth plans.
  • Reporting and compliance: preparation of performance reports and valuation analyses for leadership and LPs.
  • Development of relationships with financial sponsors, especially within the Spanish private equity ecosystem.
  • Preparation of strategic materials and recommendations for senior management; thought leadership and problem‑solving.
  • Network development and market representation on behalf of the company.
  • Team leadership and support, including mentoring junior team members and managing relationships with providers and external stakeholders.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's and Master's in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering, with strong academic credentials.
  • Over 10 years of full‑time experience in private equity or M&A.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and advanced financial modelling skills, including valuation, scenario analysis, planning and forecasting.
  • Solid strategic and business acumen, with the ability to communicate and align a broad vision across teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, autonomous and adaptable profile, comfortable in dynamic and lean environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills.
  • Ongoing awareness of global economic, political and market trends.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and workflow management tools.
  • Fluent Spanish and fluent English.
