Job Description

  • Advise clients on intellectual property and technology transaction matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate technology-related agreements, including licensing and development agreements.
  • Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property rights and protection strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage complex transactions.
  • Support clients in mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures with respect to IP and technology assets.
  • Conduct due diligence on intellectual property portfolios and technology assets.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in IP and technology transactions.
  • Stay updated on legal developments in intellectual property and technology law.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • Strong knowledge of intellectual property and technology law.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
