Job Description

  • To develop an effective marketing strategy and marketing plans to grow our market share and business in close alignment with Leader, Marketing South Europe and Leader, Marketing Activation
  • To be responsible for the execution of Product Management, Marketing Activation (incl. Digital Marketing, etc) and PR
  • To show strong leadership by coaching and developing the key position holders in the local teams
  • To ensure that the focus in your local team is on activation of Sub-brands, Channels, (IKAM and local) customers and Categories
  • To ensure focus in the local team on Central Marketing priorities in the Sales Cycle & Campaign calendar with matching principles (in case of central A&P invest)
  • To be responsible for local A&P and CAPEX budget
  • To manage a team of 8-10 direct reports

The Successful Applicant

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, economics or related field and at least 4 years of working experience in marketing management including leading Marketing teams
  • A master's degree or MBA would be beneficial
  • An international profile and experience e.g. in FMCG is a plus Experience in managing intercultural teams with strong leadership skills and a hands-on attitude
  • Extensive amount of knowledge in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Deep knowledge (writing, speaking, understanding) of English and preferably Spanish
  • High affinity for technical/durable consumer products
  • Open and hones communication and analytical skills as well as a can-do mentality while being performance oriented
